Wow! What a story. Great movie, great book. I love the new characters: Jyn, Cassian, K-2SO, etc. Krennic is a suitably evil and interesting bad guy. We get glimpses of Vader and Tarkin, Mon Mothma and even Leia.
As I suspected, this novelization was superbly written by Alexander Freed (he of recent Twilight Company fame). Astounding action; wonderful drama; gut-wrenching decisions; heroic sacrifice, over and over again. So good. I hope some of this quality can rub off on Episode VIII and the Han Solo movie. If so, we're going to be very pleased, indeed.
